A not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization Serving the community since 1925 in Philanthropy, Community Needs, the Arts, Education including programs on Literature and Writing, and Well Being programs for all ages.
The Special Events programs are open to both members and the public. Funds raised go directly to maintain the ongoing Club operations and restoration. All members are expected to assist on this Committee.
Programs for 2014-15
Sunday, November 23................10:00 am – 3 pm. Holiday Boutique. Come buy new merchandise and unique crafts for gifts during this post-Thanksgiving weekend shopping day.
Sunday, December 7.........Noon. Presidents' and Directors' Holiday Brunch. Our annual friends and family brunch gets better each year. Buy raffles for special Gift Baskets and feast on our wide array of Brunch foods.
Sunday, February 15....Noon. A Valentine's Day Brunch
Sunday, March 15........Noon. A St. Patrick's Day Brunch. Catered by Sheldon Party Services.
Saturday, March 28. Noon. Luncheon and Fashion Show. Details to follow.
Saturday, April 18. Time: TBA. Gala dinner dance to celebrate the BWC's 90th birthday. We honor two Westchester women as our 2015 "Women of the Year." BWC member Lorraine Lange and Tarrytown Music Hall's saviour Helen Ringeisen. Details to follow.
Tuesday, April 28..........7 pm to 9:30 pm. International Taste of Bronxville-Eastchester-Tuckahoe. Sample menu items from various local restaurants. Silent Auction.
